My Thoughtful Spot

Occasionally my spirit rebells... Those are the words my mom uses and they are so true for me as well. A smaller scale I'm sure, but true nonetheless. Yesterday was one of those days. I got a lot of work done, I took care of the littles, but my heart ached, it felt broken, all the day long. I would never wish my dad back from where he is - he's never been in a better place his whole life long. But MY heart hurts. I want him in MY life. I want to tease him one more time, to race him to the couch one more time, to hide his apple pie one more time. Oh God... tell my daddy I love him. Please.
