Busy days

Monday, April 30th, 2007

but I've accomplished a lot thus far. I have to say I will NOT miss having stairs to vaccum. Ugh what a job. OH, anda the house we are waiting a mortgage on has central vac! How cool is that. Can't say it's anything I ever expected to have. :)

Had to take dh to work ata 6 this morning. Came home and worked away for a few hours w/o kids then had a 2 hr nap snuggled up to my littlest munchkin. He's been pretty good working away with me here, helped me vaccum even. Now we're getting Bria changed and fed. I wonder how many catheters I've done in the last 11 yrs?? 3 a day for 11 yrs, too much math for me. LOL

Yes, I'm rambling. Ask me if I care!! Alas, I do have more work to do so I think I'll get 'er done. I do believe I'll need another nap before I head to town to take Katie to youth, pick up Mark at work, drop him at his union meeting, and then.. well I have no idea if he'll be done before or after Kate. :) Maybe J and I will go box hunting! Or.. Hmmm. I have a coupon for a free icecream at DQ, he'd LOVE that. I'll take my little man on a date. THEN we'll go box hunting. :)

Later folks. Back to work for me.

Crazy Days…

Saturday, April 28th, 2007

we're just embarking on the crazy part of the day. First to Houlton for gas, then to Fredericton to pick up a few things before getting Ben from drama fest. Then home, perhaps to drop off Ben tho I'm not sure and then onward to pick up Katie at camp. Fredericton is about 40 min east of us, Camp 40 min west. Crazy day! Lots of driving, I am so grateful Mark took the day off and I don't have to try and arrange rides for all this.

Song of the Year

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

I love this song. It tends to make me cry, it's a reminder I often need and it makes me a little emotional. I've had some pretty tough days here lately and this song just speaks to my heart.

My Saviour My God
Aaron Shust

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at his right hand
Stands one who is my savior

I take him at his word and deed
Christ died to save me this I read
And in my heart I find a need
For him to be my savior

That he would leave his place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my savior

My savior loves, my savior lives
My savior's always there for me
My God he was, my God he is
My God he's always gonna be

Yes, living, dying; let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring
That he who lives to be my king
Once died to be my savior

That he would leave his place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my savior

My savior loves, my savior lives
My savior's always there for me
My God he was, My God he is
My God he's always gonna be

We counter offered and they accepted!!!!!!!!!!!

so now we're "pending on a mortgage". This week... it has potential to move so slowly!!!

And it continues..

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

they counter offered. Now we have to counter offer.. I was REALLY hoping they'd counter offer something we could accept! Ah well. Perhaps this time? :)

I'm packing like a packrat (something I know well!) only tossing a LOT today. Soon I'll have more boxes than house. :)

Twice in one day?!

Saturday, April 21st, 2007

Yes, I'm back again. I just feel like it! :)

I have the crock full of potatoes (in their jackets). Hubbie is going to turn it on when he gets up in the morning and by 1, about the time we get home, they should be about done. Sour cream, bacon bits, chives and some garlic and pepper shakey stuff. Mmmmmm. I can't wait! I love my crock.

Katie has cleaned Meeka's cage, I've bathed J and washed Bria's hair for her. It's time for me to brush up B's teeth and my own and then to bed. I'm tired (I hope I can sleep, last two nights I've had trouble) and have to get up to take dh to work at 6 am. Oh fun! I've been chronically tired lately. Probably in part due to the trouble sleeping and the MS can bring on fatigue even when I'm sleeping very well. So, depending on that we may just come home after SS tomorrow. We'll see.

Ben has drama practice from 1-6 so he'll catch a ride with someone at church. There are several church kids involved, helps so much! Hopefully he can also get a ride from drama back to church as small group starts at 6! Not likely a problem.

Ok. I really am going to bed now. Truly!

So

Saturday, April 21st, 2007

today we made an official, written, signed offer on the house. They have until Tuesday at 1 pm to counter, accept or refuse.

This is nerve wracking!!
