My Thoughtful Spot

The days are passing quickly, but quite nicely. Today we splurged. We're not getting our vacation this year, much of hubbie's vacation time was eaten up between the move and my being in the hospital. Really sucks. However. We decided that we were gonna take that lemon and make us some LEMONADE!! The money we did NOT spend renting a cottage was spent on this item for our family.

Wish my camera would communicate with the computer, I'd share a picture of this lemonade. Well, I will, but it won't be US in the picture. It'll be some strangers in our lemonade... haha

We've checked regulations regarding pools in our neighbourhood and we can't WAIT to get it up!!! It's 15 x 48 and should be lots of fun for us this summer. It will be such a help for me in staying cool (great for the MS) and help for my getting exercise (great for blood sugar and cholesterol levels!). I'm so excited!

My first one without my daddy. I'm thinking of him today, realizing he's celebrating with more glory than I can begin to imagine, celebrating with our Heavenly Father, but wishing I could tell him all about all the wonderful things that have happened in my own life. All the blessings God has rained down on us. I hope he knows. I want for him to know how truly happy and blessed I am despite the ache of longing in my heart. Truly the Lord does give AND take away. He took my daddy from me, for now, but He has rained so many blessings on my head in the last months that it leaves me unable to take it all in.

Thank you Father God for the father you gave me, and thank you for the faith he had in You that He passed along to me.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaack

My mom left this morning. I miss her already. And not just because I have to do all my own work now!

RIght now it's so quiet here. I (we) are SO loving our new house. I've taken azillion pics but my puter is being a pain and right now I can't upload. I have to find my disc - you know, the one that came with the camera. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yep. Find a disc. Uh huh. One I didn't expect to need therefore did NOT pack in a "take me first" box. Could be a while.

Anyways. I am alive. Honest. Gotta deal with a little clutter growing in the living room (stuff that doesn't have a home yet) and some stuff on the counter in the kitchen - same problem. A bunch of boxes in the garage too. Fun times!

so little time. Or energy. Brief synopsis - Thurs I was admitted to the hosp (one week ago yesterday). The pain I was feeling was classic and I'd had a mild heart attack. I was admiited to ICU where I was waiting to go to st John for a heart catheterization when, on Saturday, it's believed I had another mild heart attack. On Sunday I was finallyi put on a nitro drip. Can anyone say HEADACHE?? Monday I went to St John, had a stent put in place to deal with the 90% block of my Left somethingorother artery. a major artery anyways. At the top. lol I do know the word but topomax has done it's job and right now it's escaping me.

So, the familyi sort of moved with out me, and yet were really only camping here. In fact, we're still not doing *much* more than that. We do have beds now. Mark made sure mine arrived before I got home.

It was a difficult experience, one I hope to never repeat. Im on an cocktail of meds.

Today I got to make my bed, sweep the kitchen and dining room and start laundry. All by 8 am. My life is, indeed, returning to normal!
