low blood sugar. It was 4.3 and I was pretty shakey. Hubby says at 4 they stick in IV in you and give you glucose. Fun fun! I just ate a little lunch. But I also sat down on a stool while waiting for said lunch to warm up and the stool broke and let me down. Tailbone vs floor. Guess who wins? not my bones! So i'm pretty achy tonight. Thanks to some good drugs I'm only achy. I was in pretty serious pain before I took them. Since hub is working the night and it's youth group night I really needed to be able to cope. Meds usually knock me out so I've had to be careful to NOT sit down long enough to fall asleep. Tough when you hurt! But youth ends about now so it won't be too much longer. Then I am going to bed!

and yes. I had eaten properly.

A kindly 90-year-old grandmother found buying presents for family and friends a bit much one Christmas, so she wrote out checks for all of them to put in their Christmas cards.

In each card she wrote, "Buy your own present" and then sent them off.

After the Christmas festivities were over, she found the checks in her desk!

Everyone had gotten a Christmas card from her with "Buy your own present" written inside, but without the checks!

Guess one can't make a new years resolution on Nov 24, so what would one call it?

I really want to blog more faithfully. I do enjoy it but life has gotten SO busy lately. And now the dog starts pacing telling me she wants/needs to go potty. Gotta toilet train this animal. lol. Now there is a picture, this gangly greyhound on a toilet!

Ok. enough foolishness. I want to make christmas cards today but first must finish the kitchen!

is on. I LOVE christmas and so totally enjoy the countdown. In just a few more days we'll start our advent activities. I need to get into gear and get my calander created and ready to go. I picked up a couple things tonight for Christmas cards (I like to make some) and hope to get making some tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

Tired tonight. Had a good time in town with hubbie tho. I didn't have the girls tonight, Reyna was up sick in the night and probably still not feeling well this morning. Mom and dad were tired from lack of sleep! It was nice having a Friday off, tho I wouldn't wish the flu on a poor child. I did get a lot accomplished in the time and tomorrow will be glad to have that headstart. I have to run to town tomorrow so really should be getting in to bed soon. I'm rambling, but I don't much care. I'm just glad to be able to blog again.

The costumes were a whopping $4 after halloween. The time to buy! We're gradually getting a very interesting dress up collection. LOL

Talking to a friend tonight, she used a phrase I have fallen in love with. AND, it describes our home schooling method to a *T*. Free range education.

I LOVE it.

BTW, my free range educated almost a man child is doing awesome at Community College. He's among a small number who are actually passing all the tests (and more than passing in his case at least). He's enjoyed spending some time at home while others were rewriting said tests! LOL

Free range education. It still makes me giggle, yet it says it all.
