Blah
yes, today I am feeling very blah. It's 8.20 am and I am up alone - I should be jumping up and down for joy! The extra kids are coming late this week and I really am enjoying it.. but today I woke up early coughing and choking and it wasn't a really great start to the day. Dh is now off to work and nobody else has risen. I'm in a mood. I'm going to start throwing stuff away. I am SO SICK of all the clutter. Problem is? when it comes down to actually getting rid of stuff I suck at it too. Things I never ever use -- but I might some day! I have got to get tough. Most of it is stuff I *could* get again if I really really needed it. Unlikely as that may be!
So. Hopefully today will be a good get rid of stuff day. J's autism has been in full force the last few days. He's been struggling with just being alive some. Brianna -- well, I can't wait until it's warm enough to send them out to play. I really need some quietness to work in and that just doesn't happen here with mr jackhammer and miss princess. She may be largely non-verbal but she causes plenty of noise!
Maybe I can get some pictures today. that always cheers me up. Yesterday I had my little friend Caleb. I got to cuddle and nap with him and it was wonderful.
Now lets see if I can fill a grocery bag with things to LEAVE THIS HOUSE. anyone with me?

I hear ya, Glenda. I need to clear out some stuff but whenever I try I end up just putting it to one side again because I can’t quit give it up.

I hear ya on all accounts! LOL! Hey, maybe there is a genetic gene link to mothers who can’t get rid of things and autism? (If you don’t laugh; you’ll cry)
On a positive note, when I turned 40, I was able to start getting rid of things more easily . . . I still have to wait until the mood strikes, but I seem to be able to follow through with the giving away part afterward, as Jacqueline noted, as still being a required step.

A daily 27 fling boogie will do the trick! I have gotten past wanting to keep “things and stuff” but I”m sure when you still have your children all home it’s much more difficult to get rid of as much as you’d like. After packing to move this last time I have lost all desire to accumulate anything at all. The truth is that we only use a fraction of what we have and rest clutters up our lives in more ways than one.
Hope you made a good start!

Hey, how are you? Was surprised and pleased to see your comment on my Xanga. It’s been quite a long time since we’ve connected.
I have a hard time decluttering…well, not really ME, but Shayne is such a packrat! LOL So I have to be sneaky about it! LOL
